Amazing Monte Vioz that is a 3.645 mt mountain located on the border between Lombardy and Trentino in the wonderful and magnificent Ortler Alps.
Below its summit is the Mantova del Vioz refuge, the highest of the Eastern Alps.
From the top 360° of the highest mountains of Ortles-Cevedale (almost 4.000 mt tops), Bernina (one of the 4 Italian over 4.000 mt.), Brenta, Presanella, Adamello groups, and many of the Austrian and Alto Adige groups and incredible glaciers like the Forni glacier (Ghiacciaio dei Forni) that lies on the west side of Monte Vioz, flowing into the Valle dei Forni. The most popular climbing route is from the trailhead at Peio Fonti, a cable car to the refuge Doss dei Cembri, and a 1.350 mt climb from there or the shorter, but steeper way from Peio 3000 station (only 800 mt drop). Very easy trail from Madonna di Campiglio to Vallesinella, Cascate di Mezzo (Middle falls), the most beautiful of this valley. It's possible to go up to other falls (see komoot.com/tour/19642505) or coming back, also by bus service because of limited access to the park.Overall Evaluation: 8/10

Short but steep trail from Pradalago Hut (Rifugio Viviani) to the top of Monte Zeledria. Great View on Brenta and Adamello/Presanella. Unfortunatelly the very close Ortles/Cevedale view is covered by other mountains.Overall Evaluation: 8/10
