It was a new tour for Michael and Arne. On the way there we walked through fog, visibility was perhaps 200 m. When we left the Dornajo restaurant, the fog had cleared. Despite the fog, our spirits were excellent and we had a lot of fun...

This tour is always beautiful, strenuous at the beginning, but from Teno-Alto it is comfortable with beautiful views.
The highlight was the homemade jam made from nísperos and rhubarb that Michael brought with him. And the fresh croissants... mmmh....And then the cortado that was bought in the village pub... fantastic...

A beautiful day and an equally beautiful tour. Very varied.
At the beginning we passed gardens with blooming flowers, vines and many Nisperos trees (in English: "Japanese loquat"). Then mostly through the shady forest, which brought cooling. There were a lot of people on the whole tour, namely 2 cyclists…

Visited Las Vegas again today 😀
A lovely round trip, even though the temperatures were above 30 degrees because of Calima....

My friend Xavi - the hiking specialist from Tenerife - recommended this tour. It was really beautiful. It went up through a narrow gorge, and in some places you needed your hands to climb... We were accompanied by a stream with small "waterfalls".

Instead, we did a coastal hike from Puertito to Marazul and back.
A hike of a different kind: first past an illegal shack settlement, then - just 300 m further - luxury hotels.
Then a longer break in the car bar in front of Marazul…

A fantastic landscape opened up to us today: when you drive along the TF-38 towards Teide, you have no idea what wonderful landscape is to the left of the road. Unique. It reminded me a bit of the national parks in Utah/USA. My hiking colleagues (including Jürgen, the hiking emperor) were also thrilled...
Suuuuuuuuuuper,
this tour was phenomenal; fantastic, breathtaking views; simply beautiful. But also exhausting, at least as far as the last climb was concerned. Exhausting for Michael and me. Not an issue for Reinhold...
Of course the journey was long at 90 minutes, but it was worth it. And the weather…
