About Fahr ein schöneres Hamburg

The Fischbeker Heide is a huge heather area in the south of Hamburg. A tour through this area is challenging due to the hilly terrain with some steep climbs, but also just as rewarding. The heather is named after the Fischbek, a river that has now dried up and whose bed is still visible in the landscape…

The Stellmoorer Tunneltal is a nature reserve in the north-east of Hamburg, along the border with the state of Schleswig-Holstein. This is where the Wandse runs, among other things, which has been dammed into a large pond on the site of the nature reserve. The natural landscape and tranquility make the…

Here you cycle undisturbed by the noise of the city through wonderfully green beech forests and along many small rivers. There are also fish ponds here where you can take a break. If you're hungry, you can stop off at the…

The tour begins centrally on Jungfernstieg, directly on the Inner Alster. If you live a bit outside, you can easily get to the starting point by train, for example. The traffic-calmed Jungfernstieg is not one of the most popular destinations in Hamburg for nothing. The Alster ships leave here. The view…

This is the right bike tour for the whole family. It's easy, there are hardly any inclines and, above all, lots of playgrounds, so that even little cyclists get their money's worth. The tour consists of two loops. So you can simply shorten it and only drive one of the two loops if you feel like walking…
The Marienhöhe is located in the west of Hamburg not far from the Elbe. A manor house, a street and an outdoor swimming pool are named after her. In earlier times there was a sand and gravel pit here, which has now been renatured. The entire area with its extensive forest areas was redesigned as a park…
