My Most Memorable Adventures of 2023

Woah! 🤩2023 is certainly the year I've fallen head over heels in love with hiking ❤️ 🥾. From enjoying my own company on solo hikes, including along the beautiful coastline of the Algarve, or hiking into the city of London to ride the Cloud Cable Car, to the buzz of completing the speedy 24-hour UK National 3 Peaks Challenge with boys (shout out to the 'Peaky Vipers' 🤪🏔️). There were also stunning hikes with the girls, including across the Seven Sisters Cliffs and watching the sunrise from the peak of Mam Tor in the Peak District. So, 2023 has delivered on ALL fronts! If this is what 2023 had to offer, I cannot wait to be blown away by 2024 and fall in love with the outdoors even more ❤️ 🥾. It's so hard to choose my top five Tours, 2023 has been THAT good! But Here it is... my 2023 most memorable moments (in no particular order):

🌅 Sunrise on Mam Tor in the Peak District

My girlfriends and I were some of the first to arrive at the peak of Mam Tor that brisk morning to watch the sunrise. We wrapped up warm and enjoyed the serenity and the panoramic views.

🏆 Ben Nevis (as part of the UK National Three Peaks Challenge)

This hike made me and broke me... and my friends! 🏔️The first of the three mountains in the challenge was Ben Nevis. My first time on the UK’s highest peak and certainly the most varied in terrain and physical challenges. On the way up, I was grinning from ear to ear, seeing mind-blowingly gorgeous views. I couldn't help but smile, regardless of the physical challenge.

🇵🇹 Coastal Loop in Portugal’s Algarve

I was excited to take my love of hiking to Portugal. The southern coastline is stunning with coves, hidden beaches and physical, scrambling sections for good measure.

❤️👀 Seaford to Eastbourne across the Seven Sisters

This Tour has to be, for me, the most stunning UK hike of the year! I got to enjoy this 13-miler (21 km) with some of my girlfriends 👧. The views both of and from the Seven Sisters cliffs are unmatched by anything else in the UK (that I've had the pleasure to see so far).

🇫🇷 Celebrating my 40th birthday in Paris

Embracing turning 40 with both hands, I began my fifth decade with a bang, with a trip to Paris (thanks to my wife Victoria 👩‍❤️‍👩). On one day of our trip we walked 15 miles (24 km) around the city and saw countless landmarks, including The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, and Notre Dame.
