Dublin to Killarney Bikepacking

A 4-7 day bike-packing trip starting out at the Grand Canal, Dublin and finishing in Killarney. The route is nearly all off road as it follows the Grand Canal Way from Dublin to Roberstown, Kildare and onto the the Barrow Way towards Carlow along the Barrow river. The first section is flat and passes dozens of canal locks and barges cycling on very quiet tracks and grass trails with options for camping on the locks. The route goes into Kilkenny where it follows the South Leinster Way into the picturesque town of Graiguenamanagh. The route then follows the Suir Blueway along the Blackwater River between Carrick on Suir and Clonmel Way and then follows the Munster Way into Co. Tipperary before joining up with the several other beautiful trails into Cork including the Blackwater Way and Duhallow Way. The route finishes in the beautiful town of Killarney, Co. Kerry.
