Transalp: Germany to the Mediterranian Sea

The tour starts in Freiburg in the Rhinevalley. On the first stage you cross the blackforest with steep and beautiful clibs. In the evening you will arrive at the Lake of Constance. You should definetly take a swim before you go to sleep. Right at the beginning of the next stage, you drive across the border and enter swizerland. Green flat and cows until you reach the Lake of Zürich. You continue on to the Vierwaldstättersee where you will ride along steep cliffs. You wont be able to take you eyes off the alps before you. Stage three is where you will make your legs burn. Early in the next morning you should start the ride towards the mountains. The Gothard Pass will be a real challenge. First on the road with some cars and then later on a lonely and beautiful cobblestone road. The ride down will be unforgettable. The next stage crosses into Italy. Then you will ride to Alessandria crossing the river Po. One final montainrange through a stunning nationalpark and you descend down into Genoa. You reached the mediterranean sea.
